We like to meet with you about 6 months before any major change—like turning 65, contemplating retirement, losing benefits, or needing to compare retirement medical plans. During our meeting, we explain how Medicare works and discuss your choices for additional coverage options. After our discussion, we send you home to talk with friends, doctors, and others.
We provide you with a “homework” list and relevant information to review, along with a follow-up date about 60 days before your birthday for another meeting. This will be your “decision” meeting, where you can finalize your choices and complete any necessary paperwork.
